About Red Rook Digital

Red Rook Digital was created with a very clear aim in mind; to provide platforms for on-line interactions that are effective, functional, and above all, valuable.

The team was formed in 2010 by 4 colleagues with a diverse range of skills and experience in the technology, creative and business sectors.

John

Chief Executive Officer

John has a BSc (hons) in Business and Managerial Studies from Bradford University's Management Centre. He has previously held positions at both Dell and Microsoft, as well as a number of other tech companies from small to multinational.

This is John's first company, and first CEO role. He is responsible for the direction of the company, keeping it on course with its original vision.

Richard

Chief Infrastructure Officer

Richard attained a BSc (Hons) in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Manchester in 2005. Since leaving university he has worked in a number of roles from computer games programming to specialist testing of complex networks.

Richard is a language agnostic programmer. Richard is working to create our back end recommendations engine.

Paul

Chief Integration Officer

Paul is tasked with marrying the front and back end technologies smoothly. His responsibilities include creating our analytics package.

Paul specialises in synthesising existing services into valued, easy to use systems that combine the best ideas from each product. He has several years experience in web design and development which have spawned successful personal projects, having been featured on Kotaku, Digg, PennyArcade, somethingawful and others.

Russ

Chief Experience Officer

Russ achieved a BSc (Hons) in Audio Technology from the University of Salford in 2006, specialising in digital signal processing and software design. Since then Russ has branched out, working on bespoke systems design and web development. He is an accomplished illustrator and designer and has worked as a freelance artist and web designer as well various technical roles.

Our belief is that the experience that the end user has with the product is as crucial a consideration as the utility of the product itself. We're determined that both should be the driving force for our development.
